What is Valrun?
Valrun is a Micronation, based primarily out of Edmonton, Alberta - but has a small number of citizens outside of Alberta, with all of them being in North America.
What does Valrun value as a society?
Valrun, and its people, known as Valerites, value hard work, artistic skill and a love of both food and nature. These are the main values of the people of Valrun, though a few Valerites also value a level of comradery only found in gaming communities.
How does one join Valrun?
Joining is simple, all an individual needs to do is; First, join our Discord Server so that they are on top of announcements and important news when needed, and second, apply for a particular level of Citizenship, these application can be found on our Discord Server and are reviewed by our Founder personally.
Is Valrun a solely online Micronation?
No! Fortunately, many Valerites have the luxury of visiting each other and further developing the bonds of friendship and comradery! Some non-Albertan Valerites have even flown into the Province to visit and celebrate major anniversaries and holidays together!
Our Discord Server exists primarily to allow these individuals to stay in touch and to help streamline the Government Processes!
Where does Valrun place itself, politically speaking?
While many Valerites are apolitical, there are a few, our Founder included, who are more in line with Left-Wing political beliefs. Even the apolitical Valerites still hold some level of left-wing sympathy.
